NEW (as of 1/31/18)

  • Students participating in Duct Tape Challenge need to bring all the materials the rules say "students may bring" including duct tape.
  • The Duct Tape Challenge will be announced in advance via email to all coaches.
  • Students must bring clipboards for any event that is scheduled in the auditorium.
  • Portions of all events, especially Science Quiz Bowl and Thermodynamics, will be machine scored - students must bring #2 pencils to that event.
  • The regional schedule was updated with event room numbers on Jan. 26, 2018.  A link is provided under the schedule on this page to download and print.
  • For "all teams meet" events occurring in multiple rooms - Astronomy, Dynamic Planet, & Remote Sensing - students should report to the first room listed on the schedule.  Supervisors will fill that room first and direct students to the next room when it is at capacity.
  • Four events have impounds - Hovercraft, Mission Possible, Mousetrap Vehicle, & Thermodynamics.  Any student from the team may impound a device.  Devices for these events that are not impounded during the impound period are subject to penalties as described in the event rules.
